Curcuma (Curcuma longa) is native to India and Southeast Asia and has been used there {{BREAK}} in natural science (Ayurveda) for several thousand years.
The most interesting ingredient is the curcuminoid "curcumin" which belongs to the secondary plant substances. It is known for a wealth of beneficial properties. Due to the increasing scientific validation of its traditional applications, it is well accepted by experts and consumers.
However, the bioavailability of curcumin is low. To improve efficacy, curcumin is often combined with piperine, a component of black pepper. This increases bioavailability by a factor of 20

Use/Dosage
Take 1 capsule daily unchewed with sufficient liquid.

Long-term use should also be avoided.
