Simeticon 110 mg Gastrointestinal Pastilles

Gastrointestinal pastilles are a medical device that has a physical effect. Gastrointestinal pastilles relieve unpleasant flatulence caused by large gas accumulations in the stomach or intestines. The feeling of fullness, pressure in the upper abdomen and belching are reduced. 

1 gastrointestinal pastille contains: 110 mg Simeticon. Other ingredients: Maltitol, sorbitol, Arabic gum, acesulfame-K, peppermint oil flavoring, lime flavoring, citric acid, water.

Lozenges/30

Adults and adolescents from 14 years of age can take 1-2 lozenges if necessary or after meals. If necessary, 1-2 lozenges can also be taken before bedtime. Take 3-4 times daily with a maximum dose of 8 pastilles daily (equivalent to 330 - 880 mg Simeticon).

Depending on requirements, adults and children from 14 years of age suck 1-2 pastilles 3-4 times a day with or after meals and before going to bed (maximum 8 pastilles a day). 

Take until symptoms improve, but continuously for less than 30 days in a row. It is also advisable to seek the advice of a doctor.

Intestinal pastilles should not be used for hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

If severe flatulence does not subside after about a week, a doctor should be consulted. Flatulence and a feeling of fullness on an empty stomach are also reasons to consult a physician. It is also advisable to go to the doctor if the quality and frequency of the stool changes, if the flatulence is very painful or if further complaints are added to the flatulence. 

Gastrointestinal pastilles are not suitable for infants and young children and can be used by adolescents over the age of 14. Peppermint oil can cause laryngeal cramps in infants and young children, resulting in severe respiratory problems. 

Keep gastrointestinal pastilles out of the reach of children. 
Gastrointestinal pastilles should not be used after the expiration date. 

Note for diabetics: The pastilles are sugar-free. 1 pastille = 0.04 BE 

No special precautions are required when used as intended. Always consult a doctor in case of prolonged and unclear abdominal discomfort. As with any product, allergic reactions may rarely occur. Signs of this may be: Skin redness, rhinitis, itching, swelling of the mucous membrane, itching and redness of the eyes, narrowing of the respiratory tract (asthma). If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, inform a doctor immediately. 

This product contains maltitol and sorbitol and may be laxative if consumed in excess. Not suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women due to lack of experience. Do not use in case of fructose intolerance due to sorbitol component. 

As there are no sufficient studies available, gastrointestinal pastilles should not be used during pregnancy and lactation.
